First show of the triple!

Yeah baby!

Most years I have followed this band I am still wondering when I will get to see them - and I have three in early March! So excited!

I'm not part of the East Coast Triple (probably couldn't survive it if I were!), but we did have a lovely little send-off party for Srta and JL.
Safe travels, ladies!  Hugs from me to all friends and mummies!

Show review....it is with great anticipation that I waited at the entrance to Jergel's...waiting for those doors to open so that we could go in and EAT!!!! We were all so hungry and were a bit surprised about that...Jelly Mouth and Mr. TDW went to Starbucks and I got busy making friends...saw a few familiar faces...jhk for one inside.

Okay: the set list was My Party, Booty, VIP (two grim reapers banging on those cans with chains - FANTASTIC!), Freak Flag, Fenk Shui, Bump, Hard at Work, Bring That Down, Kinda Lingers, Platinum, Peccadillo (amazing solo once again), Make it Shake, Pull it Off, Pants, Ra-Ra-Ra, Single Entendre, 1-2-Triple, Weiner Man...Will Ferrell blessed us with his pipes (and he does have the chops my friends), Midnight, Flu and Pole made up the support team.

I think they did a fantastic job - they are warming up to the slightly new roles and still as playful with the audience as ever. The stage at this place was at mid-thigh level and it was pretty small (for them) - 32 feet across so things were a bit tight, but they made it work. Loved it, love them and cannot wait till tomorrow!

Ahh, thank you, Srta! For getting a review up so quickly!
Good to hear it went well. And I assume you got to eat, right?
;-)

One thing.......Will Ferrell? Do you mean Will Pharaoh, trumpet player?

Enjoy tomorrow night, drive safe and tell everyone I said, "ggrmpllbkcpwds".

Srta, thanks for the review!
As for the pic, all of us show on my pc, but now that I am on my tablet you are cut out.  So I'm just now realizing what your post meant.
I will try to edit in the morning so we can see the whole picture.
Apologies.

*edit* --- There ya go, Srta. You are back in the picture now.

Oh, holy crappoli, yes, "Pharoah". Posted after 6 hours of riding in a car, 2 hours of dancing, could not hear what people were saying and apparently could not remember the theme of the entire band!

It was a great show...frankly quite better than I anticipated...still the same energy and sound...I had a real long day yesterday including an all day meeting with clients and fighting a terrible cold I almost didn't go but was glad I did and the friends who went with me really enjoyed the show...because I wasn't feeling well didn't mingle at all and didn't hang for M&G opting instead to exit the side door as soon as the show ended but it was a great night...strong set list and between Midnight and Cass the interaction with the crowd on songs like Fenk Shui wasn't all that different than with Java...Weiner Man as the encore was a excellent...I'd never been to Jergels before and the crowd was the smallest I've seen at any of their shows in the 'Burgh but they were into it...safe travels to those continuing on this leg and I hope HCTM schedules others stops in the area--Erie, Cleveland, Columbus (or come-blow-us) later in the year...

I thought Millvale was a pretty small crowd last September.

I'm getting the itch for some road tripping... I don't see anything particularly close to western PA on the tour schedule.
