This will (hopefully) be my first show as a 21+'er, weather depending. I hope some of y'all can make it, it has been way too long since I've been reunited with the forum fam!

I wish I could too - However, a Friday show has to be much closer...as for connecting with us...safer bet is to come here every day and unite with us...hint-hint-hint!

I've been trying to get on more! What with school and traveling to Italy and back, I've been barely staying on top of what I need to, but I miss y'all and it has been WAY too long since I've been to a show! I hope to fix that soon!

Tickets have been purchased!! Can't wait!!

I am counting down the hours til the Dubuque show!! Hope to see you all there!!!

Disclaimer: I have not been to a Mummy concert since Rock Island '16, so the following may be totally blown out of proportion:

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!  Don 't ask about set lists because once I get to a Mummy Concert, I get kinda in a Mummy trance and I just sing and dance my butt off.  I love the new music so between Underground and A Blessing and A Curse, there was lots to love.  Of course, they played the oldies too.  Mississippi Moon Bar was totally rocking.  The new trumpet player (Sweet?  Shriek?) reminds me a bit of TV.  He has a lot of power.  I'll let Luv give you a better "up front" review of him.  

As always, it's so much fun to see the Forum Peeps.  KatieC and Luv--it was so great seeing you again.  John and his sweet girlfriend, too.  And the Glitter Girls were there rocking new shirts (as always!!--whoever designs these for them is AWESOME).  Phunky--since you missed this one, I have to DEMAND that you come to Rock Island this summer.  There.  I'm bossing you around.  

Fabulous show.  Period.  As if I expect anything else.  

ETA: Now I'm not sure who was on trumpet.... The mummy on trumpet last night was sans glasses. Ooooo....Mystery??

Thanks for the review, Shy. I saw on the HCTM Facebook page that they were live during Make It Shake and during the part where they each get introduced, I made sure I had the volume up when Cass got to the trumpet player and he did say The Shriek.

I will see what I can do about Rock Island (is there a show date there yet?).
