Next party night for me!!! Can't wait. I think this will be my first show without my walker (only because it's a seated venue)

Agreed to an outing with my 78+ year old father originally scheduled for September 17, was rescheduled for this date October 1st. Now my dear parents I love you dearly and had so many plans for the original day with my father, however, I'm afraid the mummies have been expecting me ever since I bought my ticket for this date and I can not disappoint them. So I will drive to southern Indiana with daddy and have lunch with him and when the two hour celebration is over I will bring him back to Indianapolis, because I have a date with eight mummies and a group of friends in lima Ohio by 8pm.

Priorities, baby!

Yeah phunky like I said I'll spend the 6 hours with my dad during the day but the night belongs to here come the mummies besides my concert ticket cost me more than the luncheon.

Headed to Columbus this weekend to see my Mom and an Ohio State game...a road trip to Lima Saturday night is on the agenda...

It's good that you could squeeze Mom and Ohio State into a mummy road trip.

(Full Disclosure To Others: No, I cannot actually disrupt the power grid. That would be dumb. And I would be in a lot of trouble. As well as in the dark. ;-) )

But you glow so you wouldn't be totally in the dark.

I've experimented with that. But even with glow underwear, glow socks, glow shoes, a glow shirt and a glow hat, I can still be completely in the dark on some things.

Go figure.

Hmm......there IS one big thing I haven't 'glowed' yet.

TMI!

Well made it to lima at show time. Missed my party was too busy dying outside the entrnace. A wheel chaor was available and got wheeled into the venue. The security was awesome about helping me.

The venue is nice seated area, big Though. The band sounded fantastic in it. I got to hear believe again. Right in the middle of the show, not at the end or the beginning in the middle of the show. Rah and mummy yo ran around the audience a few times, danced with some people in the aisles. It was great. Could tell Cass wasn't feeling well, he wasn't as energetic as he usually is, he did jump around and run around but something was off about it. More like jogging and jumping Jack's instead of running and jump rope. More details tomorrow. Gotta head back to Indy. See most of you on the 13th, 14th, and 15th for the big October birthday bash!

IMJ, please don't try to push yourself too much too soon.  We want you to keep going forward, not backward. Glad to hear they were able to accommodate you. It makes me sad anytime I hear about Cass not feeling well. Those guys give so much during their shows for us fans.  It worries me that they might not being taking enough care of themselves.

Thanks chirp the walk was just more than I am used to and yes I was very thankful for them accommodating me not only with transportation but a suitable substitution for my seat only one row back instead of being forth row pit I was first row main so I could see fine. I didn't get to the meet and greet, I had a ride out and I wasn't about to push my luck by asking them to wait (security was willing to take me as far as the door I needed to get to for my car). I will be chained to my walker for awhile longer, while walking around at work is short distances I knew long walks were hard for me to do and it was a very l-o-n-g walk. I would guess it was as long as walking around the outside of a Wal-Mart super center in a city near you.

I know exactly what you're going through. It hard not to want to go, go, go once you start to feel better. But then the body says no, no, no. Glad you are on your way.
