Re: Annapolis shows
Thank you Crush for creating a thread for both shows . . . . because after this whirli-wind adventure with my girl TDW it is all blending together!!!!
First Night:
We are up close and personal. . . seriously, we can count Cass's nose hairs and many of his wrist hairs . . .
Little known fact about me . . . I am turned on by wrists and wrist hair . . . *****nodding my head with a sigh, whispering "I know . . . there are some things you don't need to know about me . . . . I am sorry"
Incredible experience to be so close in a listening room. Yes, I do prefer to shake my hips and dance like no one is watching but, I can't lie, once I accepted the fact that the Establishment doesn't permit dancing or standing or hip bumping and bringing it down and shaking your booty or anything that resembles those practices, I really kind of enjoy just being able to shimmy very enthusiastically in my seat while I watch my most favorite professional (have to admit my dad, my brother and my sons are my most favorite musicians) musicians do what they do so well!!!!
Great show. . . although, truth is my main argument with seated venues is that their energy is slightly muted because they are not feeding off our high endorphins as we make it shake and get a little freaky!
So there is the mixed message!
Show was hot and going great but right after Make it Shake ended abruptly all mummies ran off the stage . . . it ended so abruptly those that are seasoned fans knew something wasn't right . . . .others seemed to believe they needed to shout for an encore.
They apparently blew a fuse and it took about 10 minutes for them to come back up again . . . but throughout the remainder of the show Cass and Eddie were HYSTERICAL each time they blended in blew a fuse into lyrics and into miscellaneous mutterings behind the lyrics.
When they asked their questions at the end of the night . . . does the song have a message . . . . does it make you feel good . . . etc. . . . Cass told us they were going to be back the next night with different songs and they promised to blow the fuse after a different song . . . .
Stroke of Midnight was their encore.
Meet and Greet . . . . all but Will Pharaoh was out . . .seriously . . . all . . . . I unfortunately could catch Cass . . . Eddie gave me a hug I will remember FOREVER. . . it made my entire year and the soothed the fact that these are my last shows.
Lots of GOOD FUN!
Second Night
Much busier with lots of fans . . . many repeats from the night before.
Our seats were a little farther back but by no means bad seats! I just couldn't count Cass's wrist hairs.
They played Damn Good. . . .one of my all time favorites . . . . And they did Believe and Tip Toe. . . . In the picture link . . . I do have set lists for both nights.
Chirp mentioned how many of them ran out into the audience . . . . at one point I think only Pole, Cass, Eddie, and Spaz remained on stage . . . I think everyone else found their way out to the crowd. Very FUN!
Meet and Greet . . . Eddie (grabbed me and TDW and danced with us before heading out to the meet and greet) Rah, Spaz, Pole, Midnight and Mummy Yo was around.
Again, I didn't get to everyone before they started disappearing.
Here is the link for all three shows . . . . Annapolis x 2 and NYC . . . I will share NYC stories tomorrow night. . . .

Re: Annapolis shows
Just watched the videos on my phone. Midnight licks the keytar at the end of VIP. Waiting for a new cord to come so I can upload those videos.
