Apparently the state of Florida is also making a guest appearance. But who cares about that! (I think it's the state. Better check, though. Could also be some guy who likes to ride a minstrel cycle.)

Phunks, are you behind the omission of HCTM from the Haynes Apperson Festival in Kokomo Indiana over the Fourth?

Because isn't it quite the coincidence that they're appearing in your area instead. . . . . . and I'm going to bet no barefoot women will yodel the national anthem at the end of the show.

Please let me stay at your house. I will not leave any beard hair in your sink.

Here you can see them practicing precision surfing. On land no less.
They are very good. Any one of these ladies could kill you with a single boob. And yet they are very friendly and safety conscious.

I'd say we pretty much showed ya!

(And the mere mention of beard hair made the No Vacancy sign light up. Try the Ramada downtown. They're not tearing it down until September, so it should still be open.)

Um phunky, can I stay with you please? I promise to take up very little room. I'll even sleep in my car if I could just park at your place. And if you have a gas station close to la casa I'll use the rest room there.

Much friendlier and better-looking security team than Kokomo had the last couple years.

I bet those gals would let us spend as much time as we want at the meet and greet!

We have the rarely seen Northern camel here in Missouri. Friendly, slow-moving and very content.
They kind of resemble cows.

Mish, that is Jorge` Ramada's Tattoo Parlor & 15-Minute Hotel. In East St. Louis.

That's what I'm calling it. Matter of fact called.it that twice.

Actually phunky never mind, looks like the guys are playing in the late afternoon/early evening so ill be able to drive over that morning enjoy the show and then come home. No overnight needed.

This seriously sounds like an awesome show, though. HCTM and George Clinton? Hell yes! If only...

I believe they are scheduled to start at 4:40 pm CST. It will be a short set 1 hour show.

When I looked at the schedule, I thought it looked like a short set too.  Looks like the event is planning on Flo Rida being the main act.  

But two hours of Mummies and Clinton?  THAT would be epic!

In all seriousness, this looks like a great show. And I'm still wrapping my head around the announcement. I did NOT see that coming!

And Forest Park is a great location. This fair used to be held downtown under the Arch. But they had to move it for a few years as they were doing too much damage to the park grounds every summer. Forest Park is midtown and just about a mile south of the Pageant in University City. And it's where they held the 1904 World's Fair. Which is ALSO where Missourians invented baseball, hotdogs, ice cream cones, shoes, common sense and beer bongs.

We are a hardy & industrious lot and would never hesitate to drop trou and show you. So, come visit!
